The exhibition is owned by BARA (British Automation & Robot Association), the respected advocate of the UK robotics and automation industries. BARA promotes the use of and assists in the development of, Industrial Robots and Automation in British industry. It provides strong support to assist with the growth of the automation sector in the UK, as well as having a presence overseas at the International Federation of Robotics.
BARA is part of the PPMA (Processing and Packaging Machinery Association) Group, a coalition spanning the breadth of the automation and robotics sector. The PPMA represents and lobbies on behalf of, suppliers of processing and packaging machinery to both the domestic and overseas markets.
